All players must register at the Golf shop.
Dress code:
Standard golf attire is required at all times whilst on the course. Tee shirts and denims are not permitted. Cotswold Downs is a soft spike facility. Metal spikes are not permitted.
In the Clubhouse golfers and guests are still required to be neat and presentably dressed.
When golfers attire is casual, management reserve the right to make the distinction between casual and inappropriate and will not hesitate to exercise this right. Extremes of “casualness” will not be tolerated.
The following are not acceptable.
Vests, soccer and rugby shirts and t-shirts depicting advertising. Caps are not allowed to be worn and shoes must be worn at all times in the clubhouse. Golf shoes are not allowed in the carpeted areas.
Golf carts are compulsory and the following rules apply.
- Golf carts may only be driven by persons 18 years or older and must posses a valid driving license.
- Golf carts must be operated at all times in such a manner as not to damage the golf course. Instructions given on the GPS screen provided on the carts must be adhered to.
- Roped off areas protecting greens, tees and soft areas, drainage etc, must be avoided.
- Alcohol is not allowed on the course- no exceptions. Golfers found with alcohol on the course will be asked to leave the course.
- Only two persons allowed on a cart – no exceptions.
- It is the responsibility of the golfer to fill divots, rake bunkers and repair ball marks on greens. (sand is provided on the cart) failure to do so may lead to expulsion from the course.
Playing numbers.
No more than four (4) players per group.
